Indicated Treatment Areas
Revolax Deep is designed for deep dermal to supraperiosteal injection. Its high G-prime and cohesive gel structure make it suitable for areas requiring significant volume and structural support:
| Nasolabial folds (NLF) | 0.5–1.5 ml per side, deep dermal/subdermal, linear threading or depot |
| Lip augmentation | 0.5–1.0 ml total (0.3–0.5 ml per lip), submucosal or intradermal |
| Cheek/midface volumisation | 1.0–2.0 ml per side, supraperiosteal or deep fat compartment |
| Chin projection | 0.5–1.0 ml, supraperiosteal or deep dermal |
| Jawline definition | 0.5–1.5 ml per side, supraperiosteal |
| Marionette lines | 0.3–0.8 ml per side, deep dermal |
| Tear trough / periorbital (experienced only) | 0.3–0.6 ml per side, supraperiosteal — high skill required |
Injection Technique
Revolax Deep should be injected at the correct depth for each treatment area. As a high G-prime filler, it is designed for deep placement. Superficial injection of a high G-prime product risks Tyndall effect and visible irregularity.
Injection techniques vary by area: linear threading for NLF and jawline, serial puncture or fanning for lips, bolus/depot for cheeks and chin. Use either a sharp needle or a blunt-tipped cannula depending on the area and risk profile. Cannulas are preferred for lip augmentation, cheek volumisation, and tear troughs to minimise bruising and vascular risk.
Always aspirate before injecting when using a sharp needle. Inject slowly and with controlled pressure. Review the patient at 2–4 weeks for touch-up assessment. Dissolve with hyaluronidase if needed.
Comparison: Revolax Deep vs Neuramis Deep
Both Revolax Deep and Neuramis Deep are Korean CE-marked HA fillers with lidocaine. Key differences: Revolax Deep has a higher HA concentration (24 mg/ml vs 23 mg/ml), larger syringe volume (1.1 ml vs 1 ml), and higher G-prime — making it slightly more suited to structural/volumising work. Neuramis Deep is an excellent alternative at a lower price point for softer-tissue work.
Dissolving Revolax Deep
In the event of vascular occlusion, injection into a vessel, or overcorrection, Revolax Deep can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Recommended dose: 150–300 IU hyaluronidase per 1 ml of filler injected. Repeat as needed at 30-minute intervals. Always keep hyaluronidase available in your filler kit.
